The Business Presentation Competition gave pupils the opportunity to work alongside our student ambassadors and improve their presentation, communication and team-working skills. By having an opportunity to present, pupils gained confidence in public speaking, developed their research skills, enhanced their analytical thinking and learnt to work under pressure and to a deadline.
On the actual day of the competition, pupils were asked to prepare 10 minute long presentation on a given business topic. The topic were linked to a current business issue and needed to be explored in relation to either technology, environment (sustainability) or entrepreneurship (enterprise).
