Whether you are a new student joining Plymouth University, a current student returning to continue your academic journey, or a recent graduate celebrating the successful completion of a degree programme, we at the Futures Centre would like to welcome you and congratulate you on your achievements.
The third week of September will be buzzing with excitement as Plymouth University and individual faculties are celebrating the achievements of their students with their graduation ceremonies. Plymouth Business School and Plymouth Graduate School of Management ceremonies are scheduled for Tuesday 19th September, and will be held on the Hoe promenade (near Smeaton’s Tower), offering a breath-taking view of the Plymouth Sound.
On the same day and at the same venue, that is Tuesday 19th September, the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe, the Faculty of Business is holding a Welcome Party at 8pm. It is a chance for new students to informally network and meet current students and academic staff.
In addition to this party the Futures Entrepreneurship Centre will be contributing to the activities held during Induction Week and would like to invite you to an event – Introduction to BETA Enterprise – on Thursday 21st September. The event will be held in the Mast House room 103 from 4 – 5pm.
What’s more, during Induction Week and the following one, a colleague Amber and I will be around the Cookworthy Building Recreation area handing out a free student yearly calendar. The calendar contains the majority of the scheduled extra-curricular activities for the coming year and displays all the important academic dates regarding terms, exam periods and other celebratory events.
A calendar that you must have!
Once again congratulations and welcome to all!
