Study tour exploring entrepreneurial higher education practices in the UK

The Entrepreneurial University Study Tour that took place in the week (October 10 – 14, 2016) was sponsored by the British Council Jordan.

The study tour was hosted by the Futures Entrepreneurship Centre at Plymouth University and the purpose of the study tour was to showcase entrepreneurial higher education practices in the South West region.

Delegates from the British Council Jordan, German Jordanian University, Jordan Applied University, Luminus Education Jordan, Princess Sumaya University for Technology, and the Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship, are visiting Plymouth University, University of Bath, and the University of the West of England, to enhance partnerships and collaboration amongst the two countries by focusing on accelerating the entrepreneurial transformation of higher education institutions in Jordan.

The Organiser, Dr Haya Al-Dajani (Associate Professor [Reader] in Entrepreneurship at Plymouth University’s Futures Entrepreneurship Centre) said, “it has been a privilege to organise this study tour as it celebrates the collaborative spirit amongst our region’s higher education network as well as internationally.  I am confident that the partnerships that will emerge from this study tour will have a positive impact for all involved”.

Nothing lasts forever as we all know and this visit is not an exception. It was our pleasure to host Jordanian delegates and get to know them and their work. I believe that the visit was only the beginning of a very fruitful future collaboration.

Good Bye
