Wednesday 9 November at the latest.
The event runs from 11 November 2016 (GMT 13:00) until Saturday 12 November 2016 (GMT 13:00)
The competition brings together university students from across the world to work on sustainable solutions to our global social challenges. You will be working in teams comprising students from other universities to find a sustainable solution to a real challenge to our global society. Using virtual communication tools so you do not need to leave the campus, we are showing how technology is bringing the world closer together, and how everyone can play a role in helping communities around the world.
Within the intensive 24 hours you will need to work with your international team to develop a business solution to help solve the social issue, validate your ideas, and submit a video pitch to a team of judges. Plus, there will be a range of workshops and lots of mentors to tap into for advice.
Social Storm is a great addition to your CV, and an opportunity to develop your enterprise and employability skills. There is a £1,000 group prize to the winning team.
