Business School students visit Plymouth Science Park

Plymouth Business School students on the ‘Entrepreneurship and Small Business Growth’ module visited Plymouth Science Park (PSP) on 1st July to experience, first-hand, how local businesses are growing with the incubation support services offered at PSP.  Accompanied by Inspiring Futures Projects Officer – Penny Hele, the students were led through the Park’s history, ethos and funding by Merika Kindlon – Commercial Executive at PSP, before touring the Park’s Phases 1and 2 and Data Centre.

The visit ended with meetings with Rebecca Garrett Media’s Head of Production – Liz Challice and Chimpsta’s Sales and Events Co-ordinator – Jem O’Shea, who are tenants of PSP.

Emilia Uchedike – a student on the ‘Entrepreneurship and Small Business Growth’ module commented, “It was a very well organised visit. Very informative with powerful knowledge and awareness. I never knew PSP existed! The speakers were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions really well. I think I am now well equipped to start my business in Bristol.”
